BC-SGC Test bench For Truck Hydraulic Power Steering Gear Rack Testing Machine
Installation and commissioning:
1. Install the machine on a flat and hard ground, without installing the foot fastening bolts, and
correct the vertical and horizontal levels with a vertical line and a level meter.
2. Use three-phase four-wire power supply, connect the three fire wires and one zero wire to
the machine according to the instructions on the machine, ground the machine reliably, and
install a leakage protector (30A) on the power line to ensure work safety.
3. Fill hydraulic oil, the machine needs to be filled with No. 46 anti-wear hydraulic oil, the
refueling port is located in the upper part of the machine, the machine needs to be filled with about 15 liters of hydraulic oil, after the filling is completed, the plug of the filling port is covered to avoid dust stains.

Basic Operation
1. Test the booster pump pressure
A. Clean the tested booster pump and empty the residual oil in the pump to avoid contaminating the hydraulic oil of the machine.

B. Select the appropriate connecting shaft and flange, and install the hydraulic pump on the oil pump bracket.
C. Choose a suitable oil pipe fitting to install the oil inlet pipe in the oil pump, open the oil inlet switch, and connect the oil pump outlet pipe to the oil pump after the hydraulic oil flows out from the outlet port.
D. Turn on the main power switch, select the direction with the rotary selector switch, and turn the speed knob to 700-900 rpm.
E. Set the conversion handle to the pressure position, observe the situation of the oil pump
pressure gauge, such as the pointer swing significantly, the range is more than 2mp, prove that the pump pressure is unstable, should be replaced by parts to repair.
F . If the pointer fluctuates within 1mp, observe the indication of the pressure gauge at this time, if the indication value
reaches the rated indication pressure, it means that this pump is good, otherwise it should be replaced. Then the conversion handle to the flow position.
2. Detection of booster pump flow
A. Do not stop after the pressure test, the heating switch meter to the heating position, the
hydraulic oil heating, to be heated indicator light off, the conversion handle to the pressure position, the pressure gauge should show the rated pressure of this pump.
B. Remember the position of the flow meter pointer, and prepare a stopwatch, the conversion handle to the flow position, while pressing the stopwatch to start timing, timing one minute after the handle to the pressure position, the difference between the flow meter reading and the measurement before the reading is the flow of the pump.
3. Test the direction machine
A. Clean the steering machine, according to different steering machine choose the appropriate steering machine bracket and
connector to install the steering machine in the appropriate position of the equipment.
B. Start the motor to set the speed to 700Rpm, set the conversion handle to the steering machine position, then choose the appropriate steering machine input pump wrench to install on the input shaft of the steering machine.
C. Choose a suitable oil pipe fitting to install the oil inlet pipe in the oil pump, open the oil inlet switch, and connect the oil pump outlet pipe to the oil pump after the hydraulic oil flows out from the outlet port.
D. Turn on the main power switch, select the direction with the rotary selector switch, and turn the speed knob to 700-900 rpm.

D. the steering machine input shaft to the middle position, choose a suitable steering machine heavy arm and the horizontal plane vertical, installed in the steering machine on the heavy arm shaft, the load cylinder tie rod ball head mounted on the heavy arm, turn the steering machine for repeated movement, observe the load pressure gauge pressure should rise to 2.8-3mp (steering machine load pressure by adjusting the load adjustment knob adjustment), at this time the output torque of the steering machine is 2800 - 3000 Nm, while turning the steering machine should not be too heavy and too light, while observing the steering machine has no external leakage.
E. Steering machine automatic positioning test
Turn the steering machine to observe the load pressure table, adjust the knob, so that the load force is reduced to 1.56mp, the pump speed to 1200Rpm, turn the steering machine, let go of the steering machine shall not continue to turn, and then turn in the opposite direction,
repeatedly try several times, let go of the hand will not move for qualified, and vice versa failed.
